Reads are public: anyone's board (numbergrid.bisks.net/board/<handle>) is
viewable by reading net.bisks.numbergrid.number records straight off their
PDS, same as any other atproto record. Only adding a number needs you signed in; it
writes one small record to your own repo, never anyone else's. The "smallest number you
haven't seen" is the
mex
of your set — a nod to @ponder.ooo's
